Meal Plans and Grocery Lists

I have recently discovered a wonderful website for meal planning and printable grocery lists. Say Mmm. I love them, and highly recommend that you use them to help make your meal preparations easier and more cost efficient. Most of the features are free, but if you are willing to pay $3 per month, you can get a calorie count for your recipes and meal plans, as well as a cost/budget calculator. Both are great features. You can print off recipes and grocery lists that I provide through my website without creating an account with Say Mmm, but having an account will make it possible for you to store all of your favorite recipes in one place, print directly from your account, create weekly or monthly meal plans, save, edit and re-use all of your grocery lists, and access these list from your multi-media phone when you are on the go. Pretty cool, eh?

Here’s the easy way to use Say Mmm’s technology to print my recipes and grocery lists:

Go to the bottom of the recipe that you want to try and click on the  ”print recipe” link. This will bring you to a new page and you will be asked to print. Make sure your printer is ready and click “print”. Tadah! Your recipe is ready.

Also at the bottom of the post is a “print grocery list” link. Click it. This will bring you to a page that will allow you to save, print, edit, etc. Come back to this website, click on the “grocery list” link for another recipe that you want to try and a small window will pop up asking you if you want to replace or add to your current list.  Click “add to”. When you have collected all of the recipes that you want, click “edit” and adjust your grocery list according to what you need and what you already have.  When you are finished, you can print or save the list.  If you click “save”,  you will be asked to create an account. Do so. Your list will be saved, and you can access the same list the next time that you want to use it.  You can also type in your own recipes and create grocery lists for them, allowing you to make weekly grocery lists for all of your favorite meals. If you choose to create an account, view the intro videos provided on Say Mmm’s website to learn how to use it. It’s really easy, and will save you lots of time and money in the long run.  Good luck and enjoy!

* Note * I am still in the process of converting my older recipes to this format, so please be patient while I work on these updates. Thanks.
